These figures from the MIB or Motor Insurer’s Bureau only prove that uninsured drivers are more careless and irresponsible in their driving compared to drivers that are covered by an insurance policy.
While the average fine of uninsured driving is at £ 185, the maximum penalty for a driver driving without car insurance is at £ 5000.
